“Attention all interns in the Bay Area! You’re invited to the second annual Intern Hackday to be held at LinkedIn HQ on August 3rd, 2012. This is a chance to compete with the best and brightest in Silicon Valley: form teams with other college students, hack all night, and create something amazing,” Jim Brikman announced on Linkedin’s official blog.

Linkedin says in official announcement that participant can build verity of hacks including 3D games, real-time event apps, AI and speech recognition, a peer-to-peer file transfer webapp, and even a JavaScript VNC client.
“Prizes for the best hacks will include Macbook Airs, iPads, and gift cards. The Hackday will kick off at 7:00PM Pacific on August 3rd, 2012. We can’t wait to see what you come up with,” official blog stated.
