Washington: Korean technology firm Samsung plans a mass conversion of its smartphones Galaxy S III and SII and Galaxy Note and Note II to Jelly Bean version of Android, reports The News Tribe.
For Galaxy S III, says SamMobile, initial tests for firmware are cleared work is going on public version of the first Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S III. Similarly an agreement with Google has to be made yet.
For Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note, initial firmware test have come fine and due to a large market yet for the smartphone Samsung will update the Galaxy S II to Android 4.1. In case if Galaxy Note and S II is not updated to Android 4.1, then a value pack will be given to users.
